This past Friday morning’s trip with a load of chickens enroute to the processor. This job leaves us exhausted for sure! The day started at 04:00 Thursday morning with farm chores lasting all day. Then at 11:00 pm we started catching chickens, loaded them into crates and left home at 02:00 Friday morning to start the 4.5 hour trip to the processor. So, by the end of this week, we will be fully stocked with more delicious chicken! 🍗

Howdy from the farm! We will be at the Gateway Farmer’s Market tomorrow, July 4th with our farm-raised pork and chicken, eggs, purple hull peas, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and potatoes!
