1 - Narragansett, thinking female based on the feathers coming in on her neck. But not 100% sure. Does carry b1 for black winged bronze, so they will have some solid primaries
Pending- Blue Narragansett not sure on s*x, the blue is harder to tell this early
1 - heritage cross, will be either semi or unpencilled.

I will be posting a few 4-8 week old Juveniles later this afternoon that are available.

I have the last couple of people that were on my original waitlist picking up tomorrow. Once they have been picked up I will be posting younger poults that are available, so keep and eye out for those!

I picked up some new flock members this week 😄
I have 2 varieties that I have been desperately trying to find stock from other local NPIP flocks since last spring to help expand my flocks and bring in new genetics without having to have them shipped.
I ended up working out a way to pick them up, but it was quite a drive 😂.
Any guesses on the varieties?
1 is a variety I already have.
The other is one I don’t have, but it can be crossed with one of the varieties I do have to produce true breeding offspring from the 1 generation cross females.

Definitely a good idea to be aware and keep and eye on your flocks. The recent reports have been far away from AR and hopefully it does not make its way up here, but with the amount of interstate livestock transport that happens it does not hurt to be cautious.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has confirmed the detection of New World Screwworm (NWS) in two calves in Zavala County, Texas. While there are no detections in Arkansas at this time, livestock and animal owners should stay alert and take preventative action. Movement of animals into Arkansas from the affected area in Texas will be restricted according to established federal NWS response guidance and a state entry permit will also be required for those animals.
