Today Scout helped dad tour Tilly Foster Farm and look for inspiration as we plan Fable‘s next location. Despite operating for 10 years in Yorktown, we are constantly looking for great ideas and better ways we can bring back and improve farming in the suburbs. From the water spigots at each animal station, to the decorative lighting on the deck, we are taking notes. Over the next two weeks we have three important meetings, and we couldn’t be more excited to relaunch with the best and most impactful community farm.

A huge thank you to for stepping in to help us navigate an ongoing issue with the USDA.

A lien release tied to our assets took more than 12 months to secure, delaying access to critical funds our farm depended on. Experiences like this highlight how delayed processes, underfunded agencies, and complicated policies can create serious hardship for small farms.

Organizations like RAFI are critical advocates for family farms, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support as we work toward a fair resolution so we can continue fighting for the future of local agriculture and provide fresh food and educational opportunities to our community.
