The time of year where the farm is mostly green with little color yet and lots of seed trays, w**d piles and mental exhaustion lol, but peak in the cooler and it’s lookin real cute!

We work so hard for these flowers. Ranunculus are highly valued for the care, attention and investment they take. They seriously take months of dedication and problem solving to get them to bloom! Come get some in a create your own bouquet at Wild State Cider 6 to 8 tonight!

First week of our summer flower subscription, with buttery yellow iris, alliums and ranunculus beauties.

It’s been a challenging spring, swinging between piping hot and dreary cold days, and it’s kept us busy trying to encourage our blooms to be productive and seedlings to grow stronger. Our farm days are long, but there is still never enough time to get it all done. As it goes with farming 🤍

June is a transitional time for local flowers. It can be tricky and uncertain to exist in the space between spring and summer but the early season blooms always have our backs. June brings some of the season’s most lush (and challenging to grow) blooms. The first ranunculus and anemone, flowering branches, and June blooming perennials/biennials. We’ve been working hard at establishing these and witnessing abundance arrive is very rewarding. We love watching it all unfold for the couples we adorn🌀

First farmers market tomorrow in Cloquet from 9-12!

Lots of you know our flowers and also love our herbal body products but for those who are new we thought we’d share more about our herbal creations from our farm.

Our love for flowers extends through to our love for herbs with so much beautiful overlap and magic + medicine from both. We harness the magic not only in our floral creations but also medicinal creations that you can find at the Farmers Market. We will have herbal body oils tomorrow and salves with more exciting stuff to come this summer!

Pictured here are some of our infused oils. These can be used alone but are also the base of our other herbal creations like salves. You can see the difference in color of each oil, showing off the botanical magic infused in each one from different plants. They are luxurious, nourishing and always made with our locally grown or sustainably wildcrafted herbs and organic high quality ingredients we invest in for our products.

Come to the market tomorrow and learn more! :) We will also have dahlia tubers for your garden and tulip bouquets💚

Last week of spring CSA with flowers in a warm sunset array to end the subscription💛

Thank you to those who joined us this year, we are always sad to see the tulips go and cannot wait until next season :) Spring really is a treat every year.
