A late August photo dump🍯

August is a month we and the bees work hard towards all year long - the month we harvest honey! From comb honey, late nights extracting in the honey house and the first bottle of honey from the season - August is always a blessing from our bees and one we look forward to every year!

Fall season is right around the corner! We're stocked up on Pumpkin Spice Creamed Honey and our fall Beeswax Lipbalms!

We're at the Lake City Market by the Lake tonight until 8pm! There's only 2 more Thursday night markets left after tonight. Stop by to grab a jar of our Maple Syrup and Comb Honey before this market is done for the year!

There's always a first time for everything!! We opened up one of our hives today to find this propolized dead snake! We've seen live snakes in a dead hive but never the other way around!

Honeybees are very protective over their hives and will quickly take care of intruders. The honeybees then covered the snake in propolis essentially causing the snake to become mumified.

Our honeybees found a little slice of heaven this summer buzzing around Maiv Flower Farm! The bees were so happy they made a limited supply of Comb Honey!

Comb Honey will be available starting tomorrow at the Eau Claire Downtown Farmers. 🍯💐
