There's always a first time for everything!! We opened up one of our hives today to find this propolized dead snake! We've seen live snakes in a dead hive but never the other way around!

Honeybees are very protective over their hives and will quickly take care of intruders. The honeybees then covered the snake in propolis essentially causing the snake to become mumified.

Our bees are sure spoiled with views like this every day!

Several of our bee yards are placed on or around different pollinator plots. One of which is happens to be over 40 acres planted right at our home!
