New recipe for slow roasted lamb shoulder is on our website https://www.windfellfarmnc.com/recipes. This recipe is pretty basic and can be spiced up with your favorite herbs and well... spices! Check out this recipe and our other family favorite lamb recipe on our website.

Top each shank with 1T butter and 1 sprig each of rosemary and thyme. (I like mild herb flavor and only use 1-2 inch sprigs per shank.)

Quarantine haircut! We have “hair sheep” that shed their winter coat in the Spring but we are introducing this wool breed ram (Tex) to add muscling to lambs. So glad we only have the one to shear!

Windfell Farm is looking forward to seeing everyone again at the Saturday markets in Hickory beginning April 20th! We are fully restocked with grass-fed lamb and pastured eggs.

Let the countdown begin! The farmers market is moving next to Lowe's Foods Park (splash pad in front of Capital Bank downtown) for the 2019 season. Opening day is April 20th! Edit: this is a temporary move while improvements are made to Union Square. Edit: 330 Main Ave NW, Hickory NC 28601
