This job entails aspects of operating and maintaining a commercial/wholesale tree farm that covers over 100 acres on several sites.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Planting, harvesting, trimming, loading, unloading, trees and shrubs
Applying fertilizer, insecticide and herbicide to trees and shrubs
Operating farm equipment in order to maintain grounds – mowing, bush hogging, trimming, etc.
Applicants must be:
Willing to work in the elements - heat, cold, rain, mud.
Able to lift 50 lbs and be in good physical condition.
Have reliable transportation
Experience in tree nursery work or general agriculture work is preferable, but not required.
