Meet Southridge Brewing's newest beer Farewell Vistas Pale Ale.

Dave Volkman from Ohio Valley Hops has been a pillar in the Ohio hop growing world. Several years ago Dave brought some new hops to our brewer to try. That hop, Vista, was a new USDA hop release. Ever since, Alex has been enamored with Dave's Vista hops. This year Dave announced he is retiring and closing Ohio Valley Hops. Farewell Vistas is a tribute to Dave and his Vista hops and all the great things Ohio Valley Hops has done for the Ohio brewing industry in Southwest Ohio. Brewed solely with Dave's Vista hops then dry hopped with Dave's Chinook and Cascade, Farwell Vistas is our thank you note to Ohio Valley Hops and Dave. Enjoy your second retirement, Dave and Nina.

Farewell Vistas pours a deep straw color with a white head. The aroma is subtle and sweet with highlights of citrus, pine, white gooseberry, grapefruit, and white grape skin. This 5% ABV pale ale is light bodied with a clean first sip. The initial falvor is candied citrus with mid-sip highlights of grapefruit, white gooseberry, tangerine, and apricot. The sip finishes dry and brings floral, green tea, and resinous flavors.
