My church really needed a new sign and I volunteered myself for the job. I attend a county church that is no frills and I thought the sign should reflect the atmosphere. I bought a 3/4” sheet of ply wood, sanded it down, and went to work on a design. I know that a hand-painted sign is a little old-school, but that was the point. I wanted something that reflects how I feel when I’m worshipping on a Sunday morning; a Bible believing country church. I found a font that I loved called “old church” and thought it went beautifully with the overall gestalt of the wood and the design. After it’s framed and hung, I will take a finished picture. What do you think?
