Our county fair brought so many highs....but this moment in the ring was probably one of my absolute favorites.
My son helping my mini me Ali get in the ring for the very first time. She calls our son "best friend" and watching him help her was just the best as a mama. She is our youngest club kid, cheerleader and goat catcher extraordinare. Our sweet girl was violently sick at last year's fair which was also her first ...so seeing this moment was pure joy for her mother and I both.
I am obsessed with how excited our boy was to help her in the ring and with the work he has done to have his doe be so well behaved and patient in the ring with Ali.

Congratulations Jadyn Weems on your successes at the Klamath County Fair🎡
I am so proud of this young lady. She started with goats having absolutely zero experience just last year, with one of our home breds. She raised him beautifully but by fair his sheer size and attitude made him difficult to show for any showman...but she worked through it so well and still received a purple. The improvements she made in showmanship this year with a more willing partner were astounding and I just cannot wait to see her future. Along with winning her junior showmanship class she got a piece of our overall market drive at only her second year in. Congratulations Jadyn on all your growth, everyone can see your work and commitment...and congratulations on a very exciting fair!

🍭Klamath County Fair🍭

Another county fair has come and gone….tears, joy, excitement, stress and junk food. Fair is always such a marathon for kids, parents and animals alike. I'm so grateful that the tremendous work our kids put in was recognized and rewarded. So many folks have no idea the time our kids put into their projects. This mama is going to brag for a second because I am so proud of these individuals we are raising. From helping in every aspect of running a couple hundred head breeding program….to additional show stock hair care, feeding, exercise regimens and countless hours of training and showmanship and teaching/helping younger and newer showmen. All of the above while helping full time on the commercial hay farm, maintaining exceptional grades and involvement in sports, hunting, youth group and so much more.
