This photo doesn't do justice to the 60,000 tons lurking under the plastic, but corn silage '26 is officially done and dusted! Every spring when the corn hits the dirt, we hold our breath. Hoping and praying first for the safety of our field crews and second for the weather. And when the last tire goes on the pile, it sure feels like we can breathe again! Thankful for an amazing, though photographically elusive crew, and a safe harvest!

Aaron and the crop team thought they had corn harvest all figured out to be done before Aaron & Morgan’s new baby came but surprise! Our plan’s aren’t God’s plans so He decided that baby Reid shouldn’t miss the harvest!

Meanwhile - the team finished the eastern reach and have decended on the home farm- we’ve got you, Aaron! 🌽💪🚜

Our little sunflowers that could are about toddler sized and the height of their debut! Micah and Iris enjoyed them between the raindrops this morning. If you need to make your own sunshine stop on over! 🌻☀️ Thanks, Papa Dave for always going the extra mile to make us smile 😇
