Marsha's Maple House

A big thank you to Twinleaf in Fort Covington and Hogansburg who have been carrying Marsha’s Maple House products in their stores for about a year now! 🍁

We’re so grateful to have local businesses supporting our family business and helping us get our products into the hands of even more people. It means a lot to see our maple products on the shelves right here in our community!

Be sure to stop in, support these local businesses, and grab yourself some local maple goodies while you’re there! 🍁

This summer we added an addition onto our sugarhouse! While it was built with our growing maple business in mind, we’re pretty excited about another use for it too!

Over the years, it’s been pretty amazing to watch our family business grow. What started with tapping trees to diversify our dairy farm has turned into a maple operation that continues to grow right alongside our family.

And now, this new space gives us room to do something that we love just as much as making maple syrup - gathering together as a family.

During sugaring season, this addition will be used for bulk syrup storage but after the syrup gets loaded on the truck in the spring, we will have a place to gather for family meals, celebrations, holidays, and plenty of memories in the off-season.

This new addition was put to use for the first time over the weekend to celebrate a few September birthdays in our family and it was the definition of perfect!

It’s pretty special when the growth of our family business creates more room for our family, too. ❤️

Cheers to a successful first season at the Lake Placid Farmers' Markets this summer! From early July to early September, our daughter, April & our oldest granddaughter, Logan, spent nine Wednesdays this summer sharing our products at the market with visitors both near and far!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, picked up some maple goodies, or simply came to say hello. Your support means so much to our family and small business! ❤️

We’re already looking forward to next summer! Until then, you can still get your maple fix through our website, directly at our farm or other local events we attend!

🧇 Happy National Waffle Day! 🧇

Did you know waffles have been around for centuries? Their history can be traced back to medieval Europe, where cooks made thin, crisp cakes between patterned irons. Over time, waffles evolved into the fluffy breakfast favorite we know and love today!

National Waffle Day is celebrated on August 24th in honor of the waffle iron patent granted to Cornelius Swartwout of Troy, NY in 1869. 🇺🇸

And don't worry, it's not too late to celebrate! Make breakfast for dinner tonight and enjoy a fresh stack of waffles with pure maple syrup on top! 😉🍁

Good morning! We are set up for a rainy day at the Lake Placid Farmers Market. We have our new banner set up and it’s dual purpose - good for marketing and acting as a back wall on our tent today to keep our girls a bit more dry! 😂
