⚡ UPDATED PLANNED OUTAGE INFORMATION ⚡

Raft River Electric, in coordination with BPA, has UPDATED the planned outage scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, while crews complete necessary upgrades to transmission and substation infrastructure.
The outage will no longer be system-wide.
Grouse Creek, Montello, Kelton and Park Valley areas will be without power from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (MT).
Malta, Elba, Almo, Albion, Juniper and Curlew areas will experience two brief power outages, each lasting approximately one hour each, as crews reroute and restore the system:
• 8 a.m.
• 5 p.m.
The following areas will NOT be affected by the planned outage: Raft River, Sublett, Heglar, Lake Channel, Jackpot, Jarbidge, Owyhee, Mountain City and Riddle
The original outage plan and the updated schedule are based on the work being completed in coordination with BPA and the requirements for safely completing the necessary system upgrades. These decisions are not solely within RREC’s control. We are working closely with BPA and our crews to minimize the impact on our members while ensuring the work can be completed safely and properly. Please be aware that outage times and affected areas may change as the work progresses. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
