All of the cattle in today's sale have been selected for functional traits including disposition, udder quality, feet and legs, fleshing ability and moderate mature size!

We then put as much growth into the cattle as we can without wrecking functional traits. We select first for calving ease and moderate sized cows with excellent maternal abilities and then we aim to improve carcass traits without wrecking the rest of the selection criteria.

100 Red Yearling Heifers
50 Bred Two Year Old Heifers
70 Short Term Cows
30 June Calvers
25 Registered Black Angus Yearling Bulls
15 Black Heifer Calves

All of our sale cattle have been selected for functional traits including disposition, udder quality, feet and legs, fleshing ability and moderate mature size.

We also select for calving ease: you will find most of the AI and natural service sires we use are in the top percentages within their breed for calving ease. On the ranch, the cow is on her own. The 2-year-old heifers are calved out earlier so they can be watched more
often.

We put as much growth into the cattle as we can without wrecking functional traits. We select first for calving ease and moderate sized cows with excellent maternal abilities and then we aim to improve carcass traits without wrecking the rest of the selection criteria.

The cattle that will be featured at the sale tomorrow will do extremely well in any operation.
