This past Monday we held our staff Lukr training at the brewery.
We covered the Czech pours of Hladinka, Šnyt, Mlíko, and Čochtan while also using these concepts to pour Japanese sharp pours as well as Czech etiquette and the Religion of Foam.
Learning how to pour beers properly off of a proper faucet is extremely important to presenting the beers in a glass the way they are intended and you’d be surprised how different the same beer tastes when poured each of the different ways.
In preparation of the release of our very own Marlowe 12° it is important that we offer the beer in the mug as intended to share the experience of our international travels right here in Mamaroneck.

Chef Lou also broke out the binchotan grill and fired some steaks in preparation for our Steak and Sugoi event on Thursday (3 tickets remaining still!) to dial in the cook. This event is open to the public, however steaks are only available via pre-order on our square site (link in bio).

We will be open early today at 4pm for England vs Croatia World Cup game today and Trivia, as always, is tonight at 7pm!

If you love the best New Zealand hops, you’re gonna love this beer.
Dry-hopped with an intense amount of NZ goodness featuring Nelson, the freshest Peacharine you’ve ever experienced with crop year 2026 coming out swinging, we also got CY2026 Motueka which is super punchy tropical vibes and incredibly fresh, topped off with Freestyle Riwaka and Citra Cryo.
But wait! There’s more! We took this beer even further by adding a round of SubZero Hop Kief Nelson Hop Juice, to make this beer explode with hops all while being infinitely drinkable.
Batch Two > Batch One

The haziest lords fighting for their lives with this one saying “damn Marlowe got hands”

A critical time in our annual cycle: New Zealand Hop Selection!

We were sent small samples of a variety of lots from which we will select our year’s supply of Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron, and Peacharine.

Yes, that’s correct: Peacharine! We have selected a lot that we are very excited about and tickled our noses in a way a hop hasn’t done for years. Look for our beers with our selected lots later this summer!

We have a few more to go and are feeling really excited about the state of our hops for the rest of 2026 and into the first half of 2027. Focusing on grower and lots has really helped our hoppy beers improve over the past year and we are excited to expand our library of who and where we pull from!

Our first Sugoi Summer event is live!!

Join us on June 18th at your leisure from 5pm until 8:30pm for a Steak and Sugoi night.
We will be cooking a limited number of steaks on our binchotan grill using premium binchotan charcoal and serving them with a side of frites. You will have your choice of either a bottle of Sugoi or a Yuzu lemon sour to accompany your meal. We are creating a Marlowe passport with hand carved stamps as a memento of each attended event and they may be a special prize for those who acquire all stamps 😬
You will also take home one of our limited edition Sugoi Summer cups, the only way to take one home!

As always, we try to give you the best experience possible and use only the highest quality of ingredients, which is why we are sourcing our steak from Flannery Beef (USDA Prime, wet aged, Holstein cows). If you haven’t had the chance to try these steaks before, you’ll understand the quality difference in one bite.
We also sourced the highest quality binchotan charcoal available in the States which leaves a beautiful seared flavor, paired wonderfully with the wet aged beef.

Available NOW via our square site (marloweales.square.site) and on draft/cans to-go TOMORROW!

Ghost Signatures: 3cone - 6.7% abv - NEIPA dry-hopped exclusively with the experimental hop “3cone” from .

We are big fans of Segal Hop Ranch and the magic grown on his farm, so when offered us the ability to trial a new experimental hop from them, we emphatically said yes!
A friend of ours described 3cone as “If simcoe had a baby with mosaic while in a love triangle with citra” and we wholeheartedly agree! This hop leans American with a touch of dankness renown in the PNW but the vast majority of this hop is guava marmalade, Concord grape jelly packets from the Comfort Inn, passion fruit Erewhon smoothie, and pineapple rinds leftover from tiki night at .

A complex hop, experimental of course, only used (so far) by 3 other breweries, delicately placed on a pillowy soft New England IPA body. This is a drinking experience. And an educational one for us, for you, and for the farmers who grew this hop to see how it expresses itself in a well-crafted beer.

New mugs!

Replacing our old “NYCC” branded mugs has been a long time coming but it took us a while to figure out which mug felt best in our hands while enjoying crispy lagers, pale ales, and English-style beers.
We settled on the Ludwig from due to its sleek nature that allowed the distinct nature of each beer be observed and enjoyed. It also pours substantially easier on our Lukr set up.
once again worked her magic deliver a unique design, sleek, simple, and elegant.

These 25oz mugs will also be available to take home starting on Wednesday.

Draught/can/bottle release today!

Sugoi (2026) - 4.9% - Koji rice lager

Sugoi Summer officially starts today! Our highly anticipated rice lager is finally here just in time for the warmer weather. Sugoi, which means “awesome” in Japanese, is inspired by our trips to Japan and the beers we drink every night there. This years’ batch we made a few tweaks adding yellow koji (instead of white koji) which gives the beer a subtle umami/sake lees upfront adding a complexity to the beer and then fading into the highly drinkable crispness that rice lagers are known for.
We also added in the new German hop Amira for a subtle lemon-y touch.

Sugoi will be available on draught, 4-packs to go, bottles to-go, and bottles on-site.

We are trying something new to capture an essence of Japanese drinking culture. Bottles of Sugoi are available to open at the brewery and we suggest you pour the beer into our refrigerated sharing cups located next to them in the fridge.
These glasses are NOT for sale and please don’t steal them, we do not have a lot and they are meant for our Sugoi Summer events later this summer.
We are attempting to recreating experiences we had in Japan with buying bottles of lager with friends and sharing the bottles in tiny cups over a meal, some of our fondest memories. Grab a bottle and a few cups for you and your friends and keep returning to the fridge to grab another bottle to share throughout your meal!

Throughout this summer we will be doing Sugoi Summer events featuring our binchotan grill, lemon sours, and bottles of sugoi. More information on those events in the coming weeks.

We will be tinkering with the Japanese Sharp Pour (picture 1) this summer as well, after our staff Lukr training course once our new mugs arrive

Two hyper refreshing beers releasing this week!

Introducing:
Shoveling Sunshine - 7.0% - modern west coast IPA hopped with Celeste, Mosaic Cryo, Nectaron, and Simcoe, and then hit again with some Mosaic we got from our friends at

We’re been big fans of what’s been going on on the west coast lately. They are not your father’s west coast. One of our regulars supplies us with the freshest WCIPA and the beers are so incredibly refreshing during warmer months that we decided to have at least one west coast on tap all summer long.
Last year we brewed with two of the best west coast producers ( and ) we decided to pull what we liked about each and combine it into one beer with a hop bill that we felt fit best.

This beer is insanely refreshing while yet a sneaky hitter at 7%.
Simple grain bill allows the fruit forward hops shine with notes of crisp tangerine, cantaloupe, and dark berry brambles.

PS good luck finding Maxy Boy on this label 😬
