Welp...thisnis the things you dont often see on social media.
This year has been one of the worst seasons weve had in all our years of farming...we had a late start due to the snow...we've lost 150 bef ft of kale replanted twice, 100ft of carrots chewed down to stubs, 100ft of high tunnel cucumbers replanted twice, 100ft of pole beans replanted twice, 50ft of summer squash, 50ft of arugula, 100ft of salanova lettuce chewed down to nothing and our field summer squash are starting to be chewed on. All in the course of a few weeks....
We've tried traps, scram products, and the perimeter is fenced with no signs of entry under the fence...
Small scale farming is already tough enough but when crop after crop is lost it makes the season even more difficult.
So were asking our customers to please be patient as we work on replanting and seeding, but our crop selection will be limited for the next few weeks.
