We are thrilled to share some exciting news regarding the 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup. Out of 677 entries in this prestigious competition, our 7 Lady Vineyards 2023 Meritage was selected for the Governor's Cup Case, representing one of the top 12 wines in the Commonwealth.

Now in its 44th year, the Virginia Governor’s Cup is regarded as one of the nation's most stringent wine competitions, with every entry judged blind by nationally recognized professionals. In addition to this top honor, 7 Lady Vineyards earned four gold medals for our 2023 Meritage, 2022 Meritage, 2022 Cabernet Franc Shenandoah Valley, and 2023 Petit Manseng. Our 2023 Cabernet Franc and 2024 Albarino also earned silver medals.

As a young winery, we are deeply honored by this recognition from such esteemed judges. Having won 8 Gold Medals and a spot in this years Governor's Case in just 3 short years is a remarkable achievement and a testament to our vision and the hard work of our incredible team.

Thank you to the judges and to everyone who has supported 7 Lady Vineyards on this journey.
