Exactly one year ago today, we launched Notoko Sauce & Marinade! 🥳
No playbook. No guarantees. Just a sauce we believed in, and people like you who showed up for us.
It all started with ’ idea to create a sauce that would complement his sesame-crusted tuna. Then came a seafood night in Long Beach Island, NJ, where family and friends were dipping bread into the sauce and his father, Phil, said, “You need to bottle this.”
Simple ingredients. Quality ingredients. A sauce that does the talking.
What started as a dipping sauce became so much more: a marinade, a finishing sauce, a drizzle, something to put on meats, fish, sushi, poke bowls, and honestly… everything. You didn’t have to be a chef to make a flavorful meal. You just needed our sauce.
This year has brought blessing after blessing. Notoko has brought our family together around something we are truly passionate about, and because of your support, we are now in 85+ retail stores across NY, NJ, and FL, shipping to customers across the U.S., won an award from Dan’s Taste just 2 months after launching, had a booth at the Fancy Food Show, signed with B&A food broker and a distributor to help us scale, joined the BJ’s Roadshow, and were featured in the press.
