I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits! Over the past few years, Great Eats Hospitality has embarked on an ambitious journey to expand our culinary offerings, including the planned introductions of Gadfly Gastropub and Zengo. However, after more than a year of construction delays and changes in circumstances, we have made the decision to postpone these new concepts at the 9110 and 9112 Center Street locations in Old Town Manassas.

While this news might come as a surprise, our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences remains unwavering. With a renewed focus on our beloved Zandra’s Taqueria, we are thrilled to announce our location in Culpeper, Virginia will be opening within weeks! In addition, I am going to continue to focus on growing and expanding our existing locations. We are going to be adding an outdoor patio with a full-service bar in Haymarket; improvements to our rooftop in Manassas, and further develop our commissary virtual carry out program.

In the spirit of growth and collaboration, and as the building owner, I am excited to welcome two incredible restaurant additions to the Manassas community:

Voodoo Brothers Cajun Creole: Local restaurateur, Antonio Escamilla, known for Mariachi's Restaurant and La China Poblana Taqueria; and partner, Luke Tamer, promise to bring a vibrant Cajun Creole concept back to Manassas. Escamilla and Tamer anticipate their love for this flavorful cuisine to be their latest and greatest venture.

Lume Asian Fusion: Spearheaded by local entrepreneur, Chris Sellers, in partnership with James Shoemaker, Lume Asian Fusion will offer an innovative take on Asian Korean cuisine. This collaboration between two renowned local restaurateurs is set to bring a unique and exciting dining experience to our community.

These new endeavors in our building represent our continuous effort to innovate and provide the Manassas area with diverse and quality dining options. The journey of Great Eats Hospitality is far from over; we remain committed to exploring new concepts and bringing creative culinary experiences to our community.

As many of you may know from our November newsletter, we will be launching our new carry out concept called “Commissary” sometime this week.

Our Pop Up concept was designed to launch multiple mini concepts at once, right from our Zandra’s Haymarket location, as limited menus.
