A homeowner in Great Falls, VA, failed a bacteria water test, and a quick inspection revealed why: severe ground-level corrosion had eaten massive holes through the steel well casing, letting critters, insects, and surface runoff pour straight into the drinking water. When poor installation cuts a well pump’s life short! 💧

Out on a no-water emergency in Haymarket, VA, we pulled a high-amperage pump sitting 375 feet down and found wires worn down to bare copper from improper taping and missing wire guards. We fixed the root issues by properly grounding the system to the well casing, rewiring with waterproof heat-shrink splices, adding extra wire guards and a torque arrestor, and installing a brand-new, heavy-duty stainless steel submersible pump!

Diagnosing a tripped breaker and pulling a 26-year-old well pump in Gainesville, VA! 💧

The breaker kept popping, and an ohm meter test confirmed a dead short in the pump motor sitting 230 feet down. We pulled the old unit, replaced the worn wiring with waterproof heat-shrink splices, added new wire guards and a torque arrestor, and topped it off with a brand-new sanitary well cap to keep bugs and debris out of the well!

Pulling a seized well pump 520 feet deep! 💧

Out in Great Falls, VA, our customer was left with no water after their 2002 pump seized up and pulled nearly 48 amps. Using our boom truck, we pulled all 26 sections of 20-foot pipe, installed a brand-new Franklin Electric Tri-Seal stainless steel pump, upgraded the well cap, and flushed the line until the water was running clear!
