Totally forgot to post the adventure I had with the farm inspector today!!
Thanks to Daniel Marbury with Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology for inviting us on some amazing farm tours!!
We learned about organic vegetable farming practices from Bear Creek Organic Farm. If you ever get a chance to try their pasties do it!!! They are amazing!
Next we went to Lakeside Farm. We learned about soil amendment and gave us some ideas for our pastures. The inspector also learned that perhaps cows were not the best idea after all... they are BIG!!

All in all a great day!!
