German extra hardy hardneck garlic scapes are here, briefly! Don’t blink, they will be gone. Sautée in butter or olive oil for a side vegetable with chicken or fish, mince for flavorful garnish, purée with toasted pine nuts and Parmesan for a heavenly pesto.

As always, zero pesticide, herbicide, synthetic fertilizer, minimal tillage, livestock-partnered food production. Our Berkshires completed primary tillage and w**d management for our gourmet garlic project. The sun, rain, microbes and compost did the rest.
