ISO - IDK Food Services is starting to gain traction and it’s time to start expanding our workforce! I’m looking for a person with a somewhat specific set of traits. If you or someone you know, meets this criteria, let’s talk.
* Disclaimer - this is not a high paid position, but could be lucrative in time. This person would be coming on board as my right hand/Sous, with the understanding that they would be helping to grow this company.
1) Passion for the culinary arts. This person does not need to be a trained culinary professional, but they do need to be passionate about cooking.
2) Competent and eager to learn. I’m looking for someone who is open minded, can follow instructions and wants to soak in as much knowledge as possible.
3) Flexible. IDK Food Services is a fairly new start up company. As with any startup, there is a lot of fluidity from day today, as opportunities arise from interactions. This person must be flexible in their schedule, to a certain extent. I am still a process oriented Chef and try to maintain structure.
In addition to these must-haves, The following traits are also desirable in an applicant.
1) business minded or experience
2) knowledgeable in cost control, pricing, Inventory management
3) well-versed in social media applications
4) experience with marketing concepts
