RJ got me a hummingbird feeder camera for Mother’s Day. I freaking love it.

We had a single turkey show up a few weeks ago, hanging around the woods. Then she disappeared only to pop back up with a whole bunch of little nuggets. Her and the babies stayed for 24 hours then I guess they went to find the rest of the family.

We had some drama today with the finch couple. I did some googling and the male juvenile finch can be another of their offspring who due to hormonal changes attacks their parents😳 or another juvenile male competing for territory. I feel like the first option is way too relatable.

We have a new finch couple making a nest in our tree. You can see the male only has one eye but he’s very vigilant and stands guard while she builds. Unfortunately I can’t see the nest I’m still excited for babies!
