Join us at Great North on Sunday, October 25 for our first Terry Fox Fun Run/Walk fundraiser to support cancer research and carry forward Terry's mission.
Terry Fox was a young Canadian who, after losing his leg to cancer, set out in 1980 to run across Canada to raise money and awareness for cancer research by running a marathon every day. He made it 143 days/3339 miles before having to stop. Although he was unable to complete his journey, his vision sparked a movement that continues today.
