Affordable AYCE premium wagyu spot in Flushing!! All the cuts were melt in your mouth buttery with omakase grade sashimi pieces.
Wagyu Place is known for its high-quality Wagyu beef, rich marbling, and Japanese-style BBQ grilled fresh at the table. We got the $68 per person package and it was super worth it.

📍Uka Omakase (Midtown, Manhattan)

I think we came to one of the most affordable omakase spots in nyc. they have 16 courses for $56 and that comes wagyu pieces as well. the are also running a free large bottle of house sake for every 2 guests 🥂
sunday–thursday at 5:00 pm & 8:45 pm. this would be a great spot for Valentine’s day!

Very solid Chinese food in LIC! Their $33 4-course prix fixe menu is an insane deal! Our favs were the:
- Truffle shrimp: mayo shrimp’s fancy cousin
- Braised beef clay pot: melt-in-your-mouth tender
- Steamed fish: big comfort food vibes

The apps were great too - definitely a spot worth checking out.

$75 for 13 courses - such a solid deal! The pieces were fresh and flavorful. The torched gindara (sablefish) was easily the highlight - buttery, smoky, and melt-in-your-mouth.

📍Tha Phraya (UES, Manhattan)

Tucked away in the UES, Tha Phraya serves the traditional classics as well as their own creative twists on dishes. The line was out the door when we got there but not surprising since it is Michelin recommended. The vibes were aesthetically pleasing — we ordered a bunch of different items but our favorite was definitely the Pad See Ew. They also had tons of unique drinks with great mocktail options 😌

📍DDOBAR by Joomak (Chelsea, NYC)

DDOBAR in Chelsea has a great affordable 13-course korean tasting menu!!! All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and flavorful — definitely worth the price. Our favorites were the Yubu Tarts, and I loved the tofu skin — it added this subtle sweetness you don’t usually get in Japanese sashimi. The ice cream at the end was also so good 😌
