We have some giants at the stand today! If you like carving big pumpkins or love onions rings as much as we do, come and get your fill!! Our buttercup squash are even tipping the scales at over 7 pounds! (We have small ones too!) 5056 Stagecoach trail until 6 p.m. cash and Venmo accepted.

The last farm stand day is tomorrow! And the pumpkins are finally ready...all 8 of them!!!! There may not be many, but some of them are huge!! We will have a pile of winter squash, onions, garlic, and surprisingly enough the deer, grasshoppers, and frost left us a bunch zucchini, yellow squash, and kousa.

It does not look good for massive amounts of storage onions yet...sorry, i can't make them dry any faster! We will have plenty to go around, especially the large sweet variety as I will keep most of the reds and yellows on our racks to dry.

I will post when the storage onions are ready, as there will be more winter squash becoming ready too.

Last chance for Kousa squash! We finally got around to making Kousa soup and we couldn't be happier! Lamb, venison, rice, salt, pepper, and cinnamon for the stuffing. Beef stock, beef consume, tomato soup, and tomato chucks for the sauce....with extra cinnamon on top!!!

For those of you who dont know, kousa is a middle eastern zucchini. Its a little sweater than a regular zucchini and can be cooked in many different ways. My grandfather was Syrian, so am I to some extent, which is why we grow and love these summer squash. Hope to see you all today at the farm stand. 8 to 6 at 5056 Stagecoach trail!!

Another big farm stand day tomorrow! And potential for a killer frost tonight! With the weather rapidly changing this will definitely be the last of a lot of our produce. At this point the deer have found the zucchini and yellow squash patch so there will be no more of those after tomorrow for sure. The following week will be pumpkins, winter squash, onions, and garlic only as we will be putting up the rest of what we have for ourselves. Here is what we will tomorrow, 5056 Stagecoach trail 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. cash and venmo accepted.

We have bad news for anyone coming to the Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market to see us today. We will not be attending today's, last market of the year. Between the cold nights, the grasshoppers, and the deer, we are low on inventory. The carrots are almost gone, the beets have been picked real hard, all our onions are hanging to dry and the winter squash and pumpkins are still doing their thing! There will be no bonus market this year, so....

Good news!! Fingers crossed we should have enough produce by Tuesday, to do our weekly farm stand. I do not know exactly what we will have but we are doing our best to make it happen.

A huge thank you to all of our supporters this summer. We truly felt the love at all of the markets this year. Its all of the compliments, smiles, and thank yous that motivated us to keep doing what we do. THANK YOU ALL!!

I am going to sleep good tonight! We can't thank you all enough for another great day at the farm stand. The whole community has really shown the love and support for our little family farm, and we couldn't be more grateful! Special thanks to homestead_on_heeb for coming and sending all your friends and family! Fingers crossed, we should have plenty of produce for at least one more Tuesday, possibly 2??? We will keep you posted!
