Sipping sangrita and tequila alternately is a taste sensation not to be missed, the warm flavours of the first balancing the strength of the second. The drinks are often served with antojitos (nibbles) as an appetizer.

Hot and spicy cocktails run the gamut from piquant downright incendiary! A mortar and pestle or the end of a wooden spoon also works great. Crush the herb in the glass until the leaves look dead and the juices have seeped out. Trust us, it tastes better
than it sounds!
