🧵✨ WIP Wednesday! 🦄

My first quilt guild sew day this past weekend was a SUCCESS… if we’re measuring success in fabric, laughs, happy accidents and questionable estimates of what I could accomplish. 😂

I may have gotten a little overzealous with my sewing goals, but I’m SEW excited to finish this one! 💕

This year’s guild philanthropy project is making children’s quilts to donate locally, and I love getting to combine my love of quilting with something that can make a real impact. 🥹🩷

Sunday Funday! 😜 Working on one of my granny hobbies while watching trash television. Pure perfection, though I will say - this is a legitimate granny hobby - one I inherited from my Granny (great grandmother) and it’s no wonder she never finished it, cause this WIP has been well over a year in progress and I’m maybe a quarter of the way done 😅

I got bitten by the quilted bag bug recently and I’ve been… “collecting” 😜 fabrics for a few projects. I finally got started today on my first Stitch & Stash tote by 🤗

I’m barely one panel in and I’m just supposed to act normal about this?? Look at those quilt lines! 😍 can’t believe I procrastinated so long, because now I can’t wait to finish!

Obi wanted to make sure everyone knows that we are making progress on our snow day project and that we are nice and warm. ❄️🐶

I just finished the quilt topper! Next is piecing together the backing fabric (floral pattern on the left) and then it’s on to sandwiching and quilting 🧵🪡🥳

A very small “haul” from that came in before the snow so I can finish up a quilt this weekend! 😍 we can call this Fabric Friday, that sounds fun!

I can’t wait to show you all this one, I got this fabric for my binding and trying out Glide thread for the first time, with my new machine (more updates on that soon!) 🪡✨🧵

Still celebrating this quilt for and thought maybe y’all would like some detail shots - because the sassy capybaras and frolicking goats is the entire reason I picked up the Animal, Animal bundle from 🧵🩷🦥🐐🐠

Also, can we get some commotion for my cozy little corner I’ve made up in my craft room? If you can’t get a hold of me, I’m probably snoozing in this chair 😍 or playing the new Animal Crossing update 😜
