🚨 THE AI-GATE SCANDAL: the edited bathroom selfie that caused too much anger 🚨

Despite recent events involving a bathroom selfie, artificial intelligence, and what may be the most unexpected plot twist in my baking career… The Guilty Cookie will, in fact, be at the Downtown Manhattan Farmers Market this Saturday. 😂🥐

Never in my wildest dreams did I think a photo of me looking like I just lost a fight with my alarm clock would cause this much commotion. Was I prepared for my bathroom selfie to have a longer public life than some y’all’s sourdough starter? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Apparently, I should’ve booked a photographer, hair, makeup, and a croissant-filled photo shoot just to ask for leads on a commercial space. 😂

Ma’am. I bake croissants at 4 a.m. I barely know what day it is. Some mornings, I’m not even entirely sure I’m the one operating the body.

But hey, if we’re going to have an AI scandal, at least it should involve croissants instead of a photo of me of all things.

Anyway, I’ll be back at the farmers market this Saturday with REAL pastries, REAL butter, and the REAL me. No AI version of me will be attending. She’s unavailable. She’s busy getting roasted on the internet.

The Guilty Cookie Bakehouse is growing, and I’m officially on the hunt for a small commercial space to move my bakery production into! 🥹

I’m looking for **a commercial space under 1,000 square feet** that could be used for small-scale bakery production. Ideally, I’d love to find something within a reasonable driving distance of Manhattan, Kansas, but I’m open to exploring surrounding areas for the right space.

It doesn’t have to be a fancy storefront or a fully equipped bakery. I’m open to different possibilities, including a small commercial unit, a former restaurant or bakery space, or another space that could be suitable for food production.

BEFORE THE GLOW-UP vs. AFTER THE GLOW-UP. 🍫🤎

Because apparently, chocolate croissant wasn’t chocolatey enough. We had to make it everybody’s problem. 😮‍💨

Meet our ALL CHOCOLATE BUN — chocolate croissant dough stuffed with a rich, fudgy brownie, finished with a silky milk chocolate coffee ganache.

Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate, with a little coffee to make things interesting. Because self-control was never part of the recipe. 🤎

Okay… you guys really showed up yesterday. 🥹

Every pastry, cookie, loaf, and questionable 4 a.m. baking decision found a home. 😂

Seeing the booth empty at the end of the day is the kind of problem I’ll happily have. 😏

🚨 WE HAVE A NEW PROBLEM. 🚨

Meet the Tiramisu Danish — our newest rising star and, frankly, she knows she’s hot.

Buttery, flaky Danish pastry + espresso + creamy mascarpone + tiramisu vibes. Basically, we took tiramisu and gave it a croissant-adjacent identity crisis.

And yes, these are random photos I’ve taken because I am, in fact, a baker—not a food photographer. But at least they’re real.

Just me, holding an unbaked croissant like a proud mama because LOOK AT HER. 😍

Butter, dough, patience, and an unreasonable amount of caffeine. 😂

And THIS is what’s coming out of the oven… crispy, flaky, buttery perfection.

We got a late start this morning thanks to Mother Nature deciding to water the entire city 🌧️🙃

BUT WE’RE HERE! And the STUFFED CROISSANTS are ready to make your rainy Saturday considerably more delicious. 😍
