♦️ Hereford Herd Builder ♦️
One of the four recips for this new program to help young Hereford breeders is carrying a heifer calf featuring this mating! Churchill Lady 0403H bred to Churchill Stampede 486M. This calf will be homozygous polled. 0403 sold to Bowling Ranches in our dispersal and she was one of our best donors!!
Stampede sold to GKB and he has many powerful and pigmented calves around the country! Churchill genetics at its best!! We kept a couple of these embryos for this program.

♦️ Hereford Herd Builder! ♦️
As this new program kicks off this fall Churchill Cattle is very thankful to Mark Cooper and his family for allowing us to select one of their finest young females to be the inaugural donor for HHB! She is CL 1 Dominette 5146N! Our very first Hereford female came from the Cooper family in 1970 so we are very glad we could kick off this program with this elite female. We are very proud of 5146 and have loved having her at our ranch this summer!
We have three pregnant recips out of 5146 that will be awarded to young Hereford breeders at no cost to help them jumpstart their Hereford herd. Two have pregnancies sired by HH Advance 3206L and one sired by Churchill Legacy 5117N ET.
There is also one pregnancy that is homozygous polled with all Churchill genetics.

Today is the anniversary of the Churchill dispersal. Once again Nancy and I and our family want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts! To all those who made it possible, who came to the sale, who bid on our cattle, and especially to those who bought our life long efforts.
We have had a busy year that has been very good wrapping up final details from our last two sales, doing some projects here on the ranch, helping some Hereford breeders where we could, and working on our Hereford Herd Builder project. We had a wonderful family vacation in June!! We have been helping out at our church on a much needed project. We have enjoyed an extra cup of coffee in the morning and dinners out! We have had some extra time for kids and grandkids which has been very rewarding!!
Many things have changed in the past year but demand for high quality beef and top Hereford genetics has only gotten stronger.
We have been blessed by the Lord in many ways and we hope to be a blessing to others.

These May born Hereford and BWF steers sold from $3200-$3350 coming off dry pasture and upheaval in the market. These cattle are bred meticulously for calving ease, fast efficient growth, easy fleshing, and marbling. Warren produces more pounds/acre, gets more dollars/ pound with minimal inputs. Currently the Woroniecki family is using Hereford’s newest curve bender CL 1 Domino 456M. This bull is one of the best calving ease bulls out there and fits this high profit ideal perfectly.

Churchill W4 Lady 4144M….Sherman’s maternal sister out of Merit!
Congratulations to Kevin and Tyler Schultz for selecting her in the Churchill dispersal! 4144 will be a big contributor to the excellent Sandhills Farm program. Not only is she a super looking two year old but she also ranks in the top 1% of all Herefords in 8 different traits!
She is raising a super bull calf at Sandhills by Profound. Four Diamond has a powerful ET bull out of her and Churchill Stampede that we get to look at every day here.

Churchill Finale…..The bull for the entire beef industry!!! Initial offering of semen straws this Friday July 24 at the Stellpflug Cattle sale!!!
Finale was the $225,000 high selling Hereford bull of the spring season. Originally selected by Jason Hoffman he is a no holes bull in both his phenotype and numbers. Thick. Stout. Massive. Churchill sired feeder cattle!!!! Several lots of efficient high growth high carcass feeder cattle sell on Northern Livestock Video next week July 20-22 sired by Churchill bulls. The sisters to these sires were part of the record breaking Churchill dispersal!

Cutting sanfoin hay! Four Diamond Livestock will use this hay next winter at the Churchill ranch. We will prob sell some of it also. Sanfoin is non bloating so it can be used for weaning calves

Swinging H Herefords….Chad and Tara Kelly.
I had a wonderful herd visit with Chad and Tara on their ranch located next to the Missouri River in northeastern Montana! They have a fantastic herd of beautiful uddered high performing cows which features many very top end Churchill Ladies! Churchill Sherman 440M has a powerful set of calves there! He is a big stout dark Red Bull with lots of pigment. They also have tremendous calves out of Smokey and B&C Touchdown!
