🌟Weekend racing update! 🌟
Wing A Class
Heat- 2nd -> 2nd
Feature 1st ->DNF
Non-wing
Heat 6th-> 5th
Feature 10th -> 9th
We races Clay County Fairground this past weekend. It was a hot one! However the nights started out decent. However the excited news from a week ago!!!! We finally got to break out the new Driven Performance Midwest car! Can’t thank everyone enough involved getting this car on the track this year! We had to get a hand on the new car but it finally came in toward the end of the night. We brought the D1 home 9th at the end of the night!
Old faithful Factor 1 is still running! However we have switched the focus of this car to running the Winged A class. We started 2nd in the heat and finished there. Started on the Pole of the Feature. Was running third for a while until the LR radius rod snapped slamming the rear end forward! We got resally lucky the rear brake rotor puncture my seat almost getting to my back! The failure ended our night! There is no doubt in my mind this car also would be running like it is without Josh Voorhees! He has sent many of long nights helping me get this car right! I’m extremely thankful for everything he does for us!
However, we are almost back together and ready to rock at Washington Speedway this Saturday & Sunday for the Corey Imm Memorial race! One of the best supports of racing in the Midwest! So we race this weekend in his honor!
