# DIY Frankenstein Monster Bricks
Turn simple terracotta bricks into spooky Frankenstein decorations using acrylic paint, felt, and googly eyes. They make an easy Halloween craft for porches, shelves, or table displays.
# # Materials
1 rectangular terracotta clay brick
Green acrylic paint
Black acrylic paint
Black foam paintbrush
Black permanent marker
2 large googly eyes
2 silver metallic faux bolts
Thick black felt
Craft scissors
Hot glue or strong craft glue
# # Instructions
1. Wipe the brick clean and allow it to dry completely.
2. Paint the entire brick with a coat of olive-green acrylic paint.
3. Allow the base coat to dry completely.
4. Use a foam brush to dab darker forest-green paint over the brick, creating a mottled Frankenstein skin effect.
5. Let the paint dry completely.
6. Cut a strip of thick black felt slightly wider than the top of the brick.
7. Cut the bottom edge of the felt into uneven jagged points to create Frankenstein's hair.
8. Glue the black felt across the top edge of the brick.
9. Glue two large googly eyes onto the front of the brick.
10. Glue one silver faux bolt onto each side of the brick to create Frankenstein's neck bolts.
11. Use a black permanent marker to draw a crooked Frankenstein mouth and a few small facial details.
12. Allow all glue and paint to fully dry before displaying.
13. Make additional bricks in different sizes and arrange them together for a Frankenstein monster family display.
