Before lilac season passes us, we decided to make some of our seasonal lilac lemonade!🪻🍋

Recipe Below ⬇️

What you’ll need: lilac flowers, lemons, water, 2 jars, cheese cloth, and sweetener of your choice

Combine
- lilac flowers (you can use as little or as much as you want, more flowers = more lilac flavor)
- sliced and squeezed lemons (usually 2 per quart but once again it’s preference)
- warm water

Mix those ingredients in a jar and store in the fridge. Let it sit for at least 24 hours, no more than 48 hours. (More time = more flavor).

Next use a cheese cloth to strain the lemonade into a new jar. Add your sweetener now, you can use honey, agave, sugar, etc.

Now serve over ice and enjoy some lilac lemonade! 🤗

It’s the season for growth! Which means growing a wide variety of veggies/ fruits for this summer. ☀️🍅🌽🍉

We are hoping to provide an assortment of canned goods (salsas, pickled veggies + eggs, jams, etc.) this summer and fall. 🍓🥒

We also plan on having wildflower bouquets available this summer and pumpkins available in the fall! 🌸🎃

Unfortunately we’ve been having a large predator come at night that took out a rooster and we haven’t been able to trap it. It got brave and showed up in daylight this morning… It’s a BIG fox!! 🦊 Let’s hope we can catch it in the next couple nights now that we know what we are dealing with. 😮‍💨🙏🏼

Joy’s kids will be 1 week old tomorrow! We decided to let our kids name them; so the little girl is Plato (black and white) and the little boy is Chili (tri color). 😂😍

They will be available June 12th! Chili is polled like their mama (born without horns) and Plato has been disbudded. If anyone is interested in getting them as a bottle baby, I wouldn’t mind at all. Although I would need a few days to transition them over to a bottle. 🤗
