Due to numerous unaddressed issues with the City of Manistee's interpretation of our contract that restricted my activities last year and would continue to restrict the balance of my 3 year contract in my ability to fulfill my goals and intentions as laid out in my bid submission I will not be returning to the 5th Ave beach location. I waited patiently throughout last years season to have these issues addressed without making this business venture a "bad taste in my mouth" situation , but after numerous conversations, and emails to those in the Public Works dept as well as the Parks Commission board it has proven to be a fruitless endeavor. I want to thank everyone who patronized my concession stand last year , I had a blast back in my hometown and I wish the next vendor the best of luck in their ability to serve the fine folks of Manistee at the 5th Ave beach location. Thanks to all the family and friends who came by to see me, it was great to see and talk to all of you.................. Paul Ronning
