Hinkson Homegrown - Sustainable Family Farm

Hinkson Homegrown - Sustainable Family Farm We are a small sustainable family farm located in Michigan’s upper peninsula. We are a small homestead located in Michigan’s upper peninsula.

Our homestead uses Joel Salatin’s rotational grazing model for all of its livestock, edible plant gardening, and wild food harvesting in an effort to become self sufficient and contribute to our local food economy. Some of the “sustainability skills” we utilize: rainwater catchment, alternative energies, wild food collection and preparation, long-term food preservation, butchering, beekeeping, see

d saving, homeopathic and aroma therapeutic health, permaculture and more. Anyone who believes in the true sustainability of local food systems and who simply want to support a family determined to live in a justifiable way, please lend us a hand by consuming directly from the producer.
