We felt one breeze and the temperature dropped a single degree yesterday …

🎃 Is it Halloween yet?

Nope.

But we’ve decided it is over here!

We’re still decorating, but our zombie bunnies are slushie-ready and the patio is OPEN.
🍷🐇☠️

It’s going to be warm out today, but the wine slushies are ice cold. Key Lime has officially made its debut in our machine—and come October 1, that machine is going Midnight Margaritas ONLY! 🍋‍🟩🍷🧙‍♀️ ✨️

So if Strawberry Mango or Blueberry Pomegranate is your jam, you’ve got until October 1 to get your fix!

Seems like a perfectly reasonable way to celebrate Halloween early.

OK, Wine Club family — your October 2026 newsletter is HERE!

Eric just emailed it out, so check your inbox, spam, promotions, junk mail, and anywhere else your email likes to hide things. If all else fails, check the nearest carrier pigeon coop. 😂

🍷Please read the newsletter and save those important dates!
Everything you need to know is in there, which means you can stay in the loop.

🍷Releases are available beginning on the official release date — not before.

🍷We will close to the public at 2 p.m.

🍷We will begin seating wine club members at 4 p.m .

🍷To give us ample time to prepare for the evening's event, early seating is not available.

🍷Coffin Races weekend is not a great time for pickups. Things get a little hairy around here, and a pickup takes about 20 minutes. With the crowds and everything else factored in, we just don’t have the extra hands to give your pickup the time and attention it deserves while also taking care of our guests.

(We promise we’re not trying to make things difficult — we’re just trying to keep everyone happy, served, and reasonably un-rushed during the madness.)

We appreciate our Wine Club family more than you know and look forward to seeing you all in October!

We get asked all the time, “How long will your wine keep?”

So, as promised in our last post, we cracked open a bottle of Cranberry Shiraz from the very first batch of wine Eric ever made—20 years ago!

And honestly? The front end was surprisingly delicious—bright and fruity, with a dried-fruit, almost raisin-like character that we definitely weren’t expecting.

So what’s the verdict? Go ahead and enjoy your bottles when you get them, but if you want to tuck a few away, 5–10 years might be a fun experiment. Twenty years, though? Maybe we don’t need to do that again. 😂

Still, there’s something pretty special about opening a bottle 20 years later and getting a little taste of where we started.

Celebrating 20 years. ❤️

To mark the occasion, we’re opening a bottle of Cranberry Shiraz from the very first batch of wine Eric ever made.

We met at a house party and decided to get married after spending one whole day together. Five months later, we walked down the aisle to this song at our pancake breakfast wedding and gave these bottles as wedding gifts.

The original bottle is on the left, next to the bottles we make today. We’ve actually been making wine longer than we’ve been married. A lot has changed in 20 years.

Stay tuned for the uncorking… 🍷
