A combination of an urban aquaponic farm and an organic soil farm, Refresh grows sustainably. This means no pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, hormones or antibiotics. Ever. At the soil farm in East Syracuse, we utilize organic growing practices, fertilizing only with compost and fish waste that has been removed from the aquaponic system. We are experimenting with many different crops such as tomatoes, beans, broccoli, watermelons, herbs, peas, peppers, squash and more. We're constantly experimenting with different varieties of vegetables, particularly lettuces and herbs, so if there is something you would like us to grow, lettuce know!
