I have been wanting to learn more about growing enough food to keep our family fed. We are growing our own home business of growing produce for our family and hopefully the community. Good, clean, healthy food. We are still learning new methods, but we aim to have chemical-free produce, growing with organic methods, without the certification hoops to jump through. If you’ve been contemplating canners this fall. We have about 150 lbs that will ripen over the next few days . (Ready to can early next week). We have a small lull here the next week before we need to start standing orders for dates in September. $1.25 per lb. As always no chemicals or sprays. Pick up Friday or Sunday.

Kindercrisp apples. A smaller apple , considered to be a “lunch box” apple. Average 4-5 oz each. There are a crisp sweat and tart apple. They are in the family of the Honey Crisp Apple. I have 85 lbs of #1 eating apples and 40 lbs of that would be beat made for apple sauce or cut up and frozen for pie.

Canners are ready to go. No chemicals, no sprays, non GMO. Slicer type, we have some paste tomatoes also. Tomatoes are beautiful this year. All of these are #1 tomatoes. No splits or cracks. We will have 50-100 lbs per week until late October.

Sooooo close…. Canners will be available in a week or so… if you like to get your name on the list, let me know and I’ll add them as a first come first serve. We should have canners. Until late fall, 350ish plants… no chemicals, no sprays. Slicer type and plum(paste) will be available. Canners $1.25 per lb… individual eating/slicers $2.50 per lb.
