This is such a great story and highlights why the Maremma is such a great breed for guarding livestock!

Lead Guardian Mezzo has been on the look out this week on Middle Island! 🐾

Mezzo has been working hard this week keeping the foxes away from Middle Island and protecting the Little Penguins as they prepare for fledging! 🐧

This is an important time for Little Penguins, and Mezzo was more than happy to make the crossing to Middle Island and keep them safe. Well done Mezzo!

It’s so nice to receive pictures from customers with updates on puppies I raised. This truly shows what a great breed the Maremma Sheepdog really is! This puppy is 6 months old and comfortable with his new job!

100% Maremma Sheepdog puppies born 11/20/2024 (Rua x Bear) will be ready in a few weeks, with free delivery in US available. Parents registered and imported from Italy. Well socialized and great temperaments. Raised with goats, cats, chickens and guineas.
