We have 3 junior bucks up for discussion.
Harlequins/silver fox mixes are 4 months and the New Zealand broke is 3 months.
Asking 3️⃣0️⃣ a piece or nicest offer.

Also up for discussion is proven black New Zealand senior buck. He just makes one too many bucks for us.

We also have 8 week old Californians, New Zealand’s, silver fox crosses and Flemish crosses for 1️⃣2️⃣ a piece. 20-25 kits total we will be offloading.

I am going to be thinning our flock this weekend! If anyone is in need of a flock of laying hens please feel free to reach out! Some are already laying and some are really close to laying. I also have some roosters if you want one to go with the girls. I will have 20-30 available. Must take at least 6. The best way to contact me is through messenger. Any left unclaimed by Saturday afternoon will be headed to the Amish for trade.

Bunny update........our last doe kindled yesterday rounding us out at 37 kits and 70 rabbits total😮. I am planning to sell some at their 8 week mark. If anyone is interested in purchasing some please feel free to contact me for more info.

Well it was real while it lasted! These guys went to butcher Saturday and came home today. They have been tucked away for safe keeping (Thanksgiving/ Winter) in the freezer. I’m sure glad we sent them when we did because each big boy weighed in between 14-15 lbs. dressed out. There is much that brings me comfort knowing I raised our meat for the winter and that they lived a very happy free range life. These bad boys each have the possibility to give our family 4 meals and all the bone broth we could ask for. Today is a good day!

Our Meat chickens have reached their 5 week milestone. That’s half of their life😬. To mark the occasion we moved them out to their new free range pen and they are living their best lives! W***y Welsummer was culled on account of aggression and will be good in Chicken and Biscuits tomorrow. And our frizzle boy Rex is looking for a new home! Our “barn” cat Norah is living a very cushy life these days. A boy in bibs is a homestead staple and a little fruity pebbles ice cream cone from our local Ice cream shoppe is an A+. Also not pictured. The first of our 5 Does kindled yesterday afternoon providing us with 4 lil kits. Life has been pretty busy but also mostly really good days. Stay tuned for more Baby Bunny Updates!

A day/night away with family was what I needed without even knowing it was what I needed! This was our last year of Inlet fireworks for a little while but we are all trying to welcome the change! It was a truly blessed evening!

We are home today and the shelf is bursting with fresh eggs! We will be available for local delivery all week!

So due to an unfortunate hay mowing incident😢, I received a phone call to see if my incubator was empty. Of course I said yes and we tucked away 12 turkey eggs to do their thing with the assistance of being hand turned at least twice a day. I didn’t have much hope as I’ve tried hatching tame turkeys before with not very good luck🤦🏼‍♀️. Yesterday morning, while sipping our coffee, we heard the infamous sound that we know all too well. I flew to the incubator to find 3 pips. Throughout yesterday 4 turkey pullets emerged from their shells and one more was making its way to the world as we tucked the kids in for bed. This morning we awoke to six pullets. Turkeys can be pretty finicky, so we aren’t out of the woods yet. At some point they will be making their way back to the top of the hill, but for now they will settle in nicely in the family room in their own personal brooder being handled around the clock by myself and small children to encourage eating and hydrating because, in all reality, they are a bit dumb 😬.

Life is good! We have been very busy trying to get our Rbbitry and meat poultry settled as well as working on the garden and keeping with the day to day of home maintenance.

We do currently have 12 dozen eggs for grabs.
💵2/dozen or 💵1.50/dozen if you snag 3 or more.
Local Delivery will be available this afternoon and tomorrow.

One of the most rewarding parts of the day is a full nest box!
With 30 layers, we are averaging about 24 eggs a day!
We have 10 dozen on the shelf now for 2.00/dozen
Or 3.00/18 pack.
Our chickens have 6 acres of land to roam meaning your yolks will be some of the richest around.
Due to some needed maintenance on the “Red Wagon” and an upcoming camping trip, delivery will not be available for the next two to three weeks but pick up is always available!
We are nearly always home on Balch Place but if you would like to call and schedule a specific pick up time you can reach Heidi at 315-532-8982.
