Pete's Twisted Bacon has no events lined up for this weekend or next. We also shut the website down for 1 week.
There is some business to attend to out of state and we decided to make a little adventure out of it.
We are taking a 1 week vacation. We will be back to business on Tuesday 9/15.

Just some pitch lines I say in order to lure people in for Free samples.........

If they are walking by with an American flag shirt or hat I say "What good red blooded American can turn down a Free piece of Bacon"

If they have a drink in their hand I say "Hey this bacon goes great with coffee" or iced coffee, or their lemonade, or their beer. Whatever I see they are drinking

If they have a Yankees or Giants paraphernalia on I say "What Yankees(Giants) fan could turn down a Free piece of Bacon"
If they have Mets or Jets I say "This Bacon tastes like winning, wanna remember what that tastes like?"

Pete's Twisted Bacon started as a small project for friends and family and has grown way beyond his expectations. Pete pops into the Babylon Village Farmers Market when his schedule allows — and this Sunday is one of those days!

His Sweet & Spicy Twisted Bacon is one guilty pleasure you won't be able to put down. So many delicious ways to use it:

We'll be at the Babylon farmer's market this Sunday 8/30, 8am-12:30pm. On main street across from Argyle lake.
It's always a Great community feel at Babylon. So many vendors, with lots of items to choose from.
Some people tell me they walk a lap or 2 around argyle lake, then do 2 laps around the farmer's market right across the street. They get their morning exercise & get their Bacon and other goods all at once.

Today is a Big Day for Pete's Twisted Bacon.........
It's the 1 year anniversary of our 1st sale ever!
August 23rd of 2025 was the 1st sale of Pete's Sweet & Spicy Twisted Bacon. It's apropo that it was a Sellout today too.
A Lot has changed since then, and A Lot is going to change going forward.
I Thank all of those who supported us, all those who bought the bacon, all those who even tried the bacon, and those who even considered trying.
It's gonna be a Big Year coming

Here is a small list of people I don't want to thank.......
The person who tries 3 free samples, wasting my cups & samples, then doesn't even buy or like the Instagram page.
The people who flat out tell me they won't try my bacon because they don't eat meat or their doctor said so, but then go on to give me unsolicited advice on how to run my business or that 'I SHOULD GO ON SHARKTANK'
and that one woman whose dog used my trash can as it's own personal tree.

I feel honored that I am blessed with this recipe! I'm trying to take nothing for granted.
