You can see the difference in color from honey harvested in the spring ( light golden) and honey harvested in the summer. The fall harvest will be even darker. The difference in color is due to the different flowers the bees pollinate throughout the seasons.

WE’RE BACK!! Even though honeybees don’t technically hibernate, there admittedly hasn’t been much to share over the winter. Early signs of spring here in MA, though, have allowed us to confirm that the girls look great! We expect big things this year 🍯💪🏼

In the meantime, there are plenty of beeswax body salves available for purchase. 2oz for $8. DM for details!

We have honey, hunnies! After a 6-gallon harvest this weekend we are ready to rock.

Harvesting involves removing the layer of wax that the bees have “capped” their comb with to keep the honey in the cells, then spinning the comb frames out in essentially a giant salad spinner to extract the honey.

That’s it! NEVER any preservatives or additives whatsoever. It goes straight from the hive to your hands.
