❤️ A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE BUTCHER SHOPPE ❤️
Today, we have some bittersweet news to share.
After many years of being a part of the Butcher Shoppe, the Gott family is turning the page and passing the torch to Rodney & Kelly, the new owners of The Butcher Shoppe.
We couldn’t be happier to congratulate them as they begin this new adventure. We know they will put their own heart, hard work, and passion into the business, and we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes them.
For our family, The Butcher Shoppe has never been just a business.
Since 1967, it has been a place where we’ve gotten to know generations of families, shared countless conversations, celebrated milestones, and built friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Some customers became friends, and some friends became like family.
Looking back, we realize just how much of our story has been written inside those walls — and so much of that story is because of you.
To every customer who stopped in, trusted us with your family’s meat, recommended us to a friend, supported us through the good years and the difficult ones, or took the time to say hello — thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful.
The Gott family has been incredibly blessed to be part of this community. We will always treasure the memories, the friendships, and the people who made The Butcher Shoppe what it became.
Now it’s time for a new chapter.
Congratulations, Rodney & Kelly! We wish you both nothing but happiness, success, and many great memories as you begin this next adventure!
And to our community — thank you for allowing the Gott family to be a small part of your lives for nearly 60 years. We will forever be grateful.

The Butcher Shoppe has been a well known family run meat shop in Mansfield, Ohio for decades. Rod Crider and Kelly Lawhun decided to reopen it after being closed about a year in August of 2026 to bring quality, fresh meat back to Mansfield!
