If you guessed that we were going to get two goats and a sheep, you would be correct! 🤣

The tricolor/white buckling with the spots is going to be our new breeding buck. We've decided his name will be Atlas and we are SO excited to see the babies that he produces! Thank you, Willow Ridge Farms! 🐐

The black and brown buckling is actually our baby out of Miss Rosie Posie. We initially sold him, but the universe put him back with us, thankfully. It was meant to be. ❤️ Now he gets to be banded and babysit Atlus!

As for the sheep, we are testing the waters with this ram. For a while, we've been thinking about getting into sheep and he will give us an idea on how they act, how to take care of them, etc. We will butcher him in the fall, and go from there! 🐑

We have driven so much today, it's absolutely crazy - from Arkansas to Texas to Oklahoma, back to Arkansas. I'm pretty sure we've driven almost 400 miles and we are TIRED! Wish us luck with all these new animals, we will need it. 😅

Today we had the chance to see the incredible Budweiser Clydesdales at Fort Chaffee for the 80th anniversary of Belle Point Beverages, Inc. 🇺🇸
It may seem like a small thing to some, but it truly meant the world to us. These horses are such an iconic part of our country, and we feel so grateful to have experienced them in person. Pictures just don’t do justice to how massive and impressive they really are!

Today has been a hot mess to say the least. 🤣

I've been watching the cameras all day at work and Rosie has been up and down all day. SUPER uncomfortable! Then I noticed that she was acting weird around the corner where I couldn't quite see her from the camera. My gut told me that I had to go. So I left work and, when I pulled in the driveway, I saw that Olive had her two babies on the top of my storm cellar. One baby was running away from her, the other was flipped upside down in a hole, she was just standing there like 'What is happening?' I'm in a full panic, grabbing babies, grabbing Olive, putting everyone in their house to have some peace. I finally got them settled and I hear a grunt from outside. Peeking around the corner, I see Rosie pushing, actively in labor. So I sn**ch her too and put her in the house. 🤣

It's always a party over here! I'm ready for a nap. 😬

Miss Willow Girl gave birth to three healthy, beautiful babies (two bucklings and one doeling) tonight around 9pm. She did such a great job - the whole process was over in about 20 minutes! All I did to help was clean out noses and make sure everyone was breathing properly and she took it from there.

I am so so happy and thankful that everything went smoothly. If you know me at all, you know I'm a helicopter mom and I worry about my girls. 😅

Now we've got 2 more mommas to go!

Miss Olive is READY to have her babies!

According to my calendar, all of the girls are due anywhere between April 9th and April 16th. So anyday now we will have babies! I'm a firm believer that they will give birth during a storm. It usually works out like that. AND its supposed to storm tonight! 👀👀

This weekend has been a busy one so far! We gave all the girls their CDT shots, copper bollus, wormer, and trimmed feet yesterday. Then today we bathed and shaved the three pregnant girls so they will be ready for birthing here in 3 weeks. How many babies do you think each girl has? We have been going back and forth so much, we just don't know! 😅
