Good morning & Happy Saturday from Mawmaw’s Apron! 🥖❤️

There’s just something about a kitchen filled with the smell of fresh-baked bread on a Saturday morning. ☕️

Today’s little bit of homemade goodness…

🤎 Fresh Soft Sourdough Loaf — tender, fluffy and perfect for everything from toast to a good old-fashioned sandwich.

🫐 Soft Sweet Blueberry Cream Cheese Loaf — pillowy soft with little bursts of blueberry and that creamy sweetness tucked throughout. This one may be dangerous warm with a little butter. 😘

Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make a home feel extra cozy — fresh bread cooling on the counter, a cup of coffee nearby, and another Saturday spent doing what I love.

I’m so thankful God has given me the opportunity to turn something I love into something I get to share with all of you. ❤️

🤠🎀 Mawmaw’s Apron — My 1st Rodeo

This little cowgirl’s FIRST rodeo called for something extra special! 🩷🤠

And when the birthday girl happens to be your granddaughter…well, Mawmaw may have gotten just a little carried away. 😉❤️

For our sweet Annaleigh’s My 1st Rodeo celebration, we went all in on pink, cow print, boots, bows and lots of homemade goodness!

🎂 Both the main cake and her very own smash cake were Mawmaw’s Apron White Cake with classic buttercream and all those sweet little cowgirl details.

🐴 Her pull-apart horse was made with Chocolate Cupcakes and creamy chocolate buttercream—complete with her flowing mane, pink details and a little western flair.

🎀 And because Mawmaw couldn’t stop there…homemade Rice Krispie Treats, individually wrapped for our guests and gluten-free, too! 😘

I love being trusted to make something special for your families’ celebrations, but there is just something different about standing in my kitchen creating every little detail for my own granddaughter. 🥹❤️

One whole year of loving this precious girl. One whole year of watching her grow, learn and fill our family with so much joy.

My prayer for you, sweet Annaleigh, is that you always know how deeply you are loved—not only by all of us, but by the One who created you. 🙏🏻❤️ May God guide your little steps, protect you wherever life takes you, and bless you with a heart full of faith, kindness and joy.

I pray you grow to know Him, trust Him, and always remember that Mawmaw will be right here—loving you, cheering you on, praying over you…and probably baking you something. 🥹❤️

🍂 WHO’S READY FOR FALL?! 🍂

Because over here at Mawmaw’s Apron, I may already be dreaming about crisp mornings, cozy kitchens, pumpkins on the counter…and ALLLL the fall baking. 🎃🤎

There’s just something about this time of year that makes me want to pull out the cinnamon, warm up the oven and fill the kitchen with all those cozy smells we love. 🥰

And can we talk about a sourdough loaf shaped like a PUMPKIN?! 😍🍞 I mean…come on.

I’ve been thinking about some fun fall flavors and seasonal goodies for Mawmaw’s Apron, and I have a feeling the next few months are going to be delicious. 🍎🍁🎃

I showed you the outside… but I’ve been saving the BEST part for last. 👀🍓❤️

Remember that beautiful beach cake?

Wellllll… THIS is what was hiding inside! 😍🍰

My new Signature Strawberry Cake made its debut for a very special birthday, and after seeing that first slice, I think this one has officially earned a permanent place in the Mawmaw’s Apron recipe book. 🥹❤️

Soft, moist strawberry cake with little pockets of homemade strawberry goodness baked right in… layered with creamy buttercream and a generous layer of homemade strawberry compote. 🍓

That first cut into a brand-new recipe is always a hold-your-breath moment—and THIS was exactly what I was hoping to see. ❤️

I think we have ourselves a keeper. 🍓🎂

Sometimes the sweetest cakes are the ones made for the people we love most. ❤️

This little beach getaway was made especially for my Dad’s birthday! 🏖️☀️🌴

And here’s the part you’d NEVER guess from the outside… 🍓

Under all those ocean waves, sandy beaches and tiny vacation details is my newest Mawmaw’s Apron Signature Strawberry Cake — made completely from scratch with real strawberry flavor and a little strawberry compote baked right into the cake. 🍓❤️

I had so much fun bringing this little beach scene to life, right down to the lounge chairs, umbrella, seashells, starfish and even the tiny seagull. 🥹

There’s just something extra special about getting to use what I love to celebrate someone I love.

❤️ I’M BACK… and goodness, it feels good to be in my kitchen again! ❤️

A little time away to rest, recharge, celebrate, and make some memories was exactly what I needed…but there’s just something about coming home and getting my hands back into flour, buttercream, and dough. 🥰

And I may have jumped right back in with both feet! 😂

A special Gluten-Free Cookies & Cream Cake 🎳🍪 alongside fresh-baked Gluten-Free Artisan Sandwich Loaves and a few other Mawmaw’s Apron goodies made for the perfect welcome back to my kitchen.

My heart is full, my apron is back on, and the kitchen is smelling like home again. ❤️

Just a little heads up…

Next week, Mawmaw’s Apron will be taking a short break while Keith and I celebrate our birthdays with a little beach getaway. 🏖️❤️

That means THIS WEEK is your last chance to order before we close for one week!

✨ Orders will close early this week — Wednesday at 8:00 PM (instead of our usual Thursday deadline) so I have enough time to prepare everything before we leave.

Whether you’re craving fresh sourdough, gluten-free favorites, homemade pasta, cinnamon rolls, cookies, or a custom treat, I’d love to bake for you before vacation!
