We are hosting a small oyster gathering on November 15 and it is about more than good food.

As we head into the holidays, many families right here on Roanoke Island are facing food insecurity. The Dare County Food Pantry supports thousands of neighbors each month, and this season is one of their busiest.

So for this event, proceeds will be donated to the pantry to help make sure local families have what they need through the winter.

If you have been wanting to try our oysters, support a local farm, and give back to the community that raised us, this is a special way to do all three. 🤍
