Whether she’s behind the bar mixing up your favorite Kill Devil Rum cocktail, out on the water fishing, chasing ducks, or selling homes across the Outer Banks, Jess does a little bit of everything and makes it look easy.

A true Outer Banks local with a heart of gold, she’s one of those people you’re just lucky to know. We couldn’t be happier to have her in the Kill Devil Rum family.

Crafted from a blend of molasses and sugar, then aged in Willett Rye Wh***ey barrels, this small-batch Kill Devil Rum deserves a spot on your shelf.

Help us wish a very happy birthday to the woman behind one of our favorite sweet treats, Emily Bray🏴‍☠️

If you’ve ever had our famous Kill Devil Candied Pecans, you have Emily to thank. Made with pecans from Manns Harbor, soaked in our Kill Devil Rum, and roasted with brown sugar, cinnamon, and just the right amount of spice. They’re a local favorite for a reason.

When she’s not whipping up batches of these dangerously good pecans, she’s busy selling the Outer Banks as a powerhouse Realtor with Coldwell Banker Seaside Realty.

Show Emily some birthday love today, and next time you’re at the distillery, grab a bag of her famous rum-soaked pecans. Trust us, they don’t last long!

First Friday is back in Downtown Manteo and the Wheelhouse Lounge is where we’re starting — and ending — the night.

Sending one of our Rum Girls off with lots of love🏴‍☠️

Saturday was Kami’s last day behind the bar before she heads off to Charlotte. It’s been such a treat having you as part of our rum family, and we’re going to miss your face around here.

Charlotte’s getting a good one. Cheers to your next adventure, Kami — you’ll always have a home at the Distillery.
