Did you know?!
• They are a member of the rose family
• Peaches grow on trees
• Most varieties have a fuzzy, velvet like skin
• A medium size peach contains 15 % of recommended daily value of Vitamin C!
- Vitamin C is needed for our body to form collagen in bones, cartilage,
muscle, blood vessels, and aids in the absorption of iron
• White peaches are typically sweeter than the yellow varieties and even have less acid!
• New Jersey ranks 4th in peach production in the country.
• NJ peach season begins in July and goes until September- GET OUT THERE TO SUPPORT YOUR LCOAL FARMER && BUY SOME DELICIOUS PEACHES!!
