What a crazy GO time it has been with the springs weather so much rain and now so much dry. The maze is all planted, I wish we could say it went off without any hiccups, but that was not the case… from monitor electrical issues, to shoes on the planter falling off no matter how tight the bolts were🫣, and a deer shed to the front tire on a Sunday afternoon at 4:00👀🤦♀️! Back at it with a stolen tire from a like tractor, until I just couldn’t see the marker rows in the dark. Behind the scenes were just a crazy with chores getting done and a multitude of little things. Back at it Monday with the tire to the tire shop early for repair. Chores done and back in the planter trying to figure out the on and off electrical! By 2:30 it was time to get the hay rolled up and the end was not close. Thankfully Jodie was available to run the baler so dad and her son Philip headed to the field to take care of that. I sent Tim to the parking lot field to mow down that field to get it down. About 5:00 Jeff Harner buzzed in with the fertilizer for the field along 82 that he took the hay off of and will convert to corn for crop rotation. This was just about the time I finished planting and I was able to catch 4 tractors in a video. It was a long day and much accomplished! I think I count 7 busy tractors overall on the day between ours and Jeff’s! Whew!
