Some of this week’s activities update… hay and corn maze opening weekend… not an ideal time to try to manage both, but this is farming. Not many photos as I can’t clone myself. We’re working hard to pull things together for all the fall activities and Mother Nature continues to throw curveballs. Hay in the barn with 5 minutes to spare before Wednesday’s storm pushed in! Many hands pulling together to make projects happen out on the festival area as well as in the fields! Sleep must be overrated, for surly as hard as we’re working it should be deserved, but here I am awake in the wee hours. Just maybe it was the Mexican food at 9:30🤣🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️! That’s a wrap on the Produce Porch season. Thank you to everyone that came by to support this little business of ours. My goal in this venture is to make sure those that want to have the opportunity to have fresh from the garden taste of summer. There’s honestly, nothing like it! Thanks to Tim and Lil Philip for being my sidekicks in the trips to the auction, my Amish farmers and setting up and take down in the morning and night.
